Ricky Rebel just earned one of the biggest honors of his career and he’s still floating from the moment.
Over the weekend, the music artist was officially inducted into the California Music American Entertainment Hall of Fame (CMAEHOF) during a star-studded ceremony held at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. Surrounded by friends, family, and longtime supporters, Ricky took the stage to perform his biggest hit "Boys and Sometimes Girls."
The evening placed him alongside a powerhouse roster of fellow inductees, including Tony Valentino of The Standells, Evelyn Payne, and Grammy Award winner Evelyn “Champagne” King, an icon Ricky says he grew up dancing to. He admitted that hearing King perform “Shame” live transported him straight back to his ballet-class days in Hollywood, and her telling him his performance was “incredible” was the kind of full-circle moment artists dream about.
For Ricky Rebel, it was more than an induction — it was a celebration of his journey, his artistry, and the legends who paved the way. And now, he’s officially among them. Yet, he is nowhere near finished. He is expanding into the world of reality TV, joining the Season 2 cast of The Getaway Los Angeles on Brandon TV rumored to premiere within the next few months.
