Taylor Swift Announces New Single “Patient Zero”
Taylor Swift has a new song on the way, and fans won’t have to wait long.
The superstar announced on Instagram that her brand-new single, “Patient Zero,” will be released September 25. Swift teased the news with a string of exclamation points, writing that she had been “impatiently waiting” to share the song with fans.
“Patient Zero” marks Swift’s first new song since “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her nostalgic country track written for Toy Story 5 and released in June.
Fans also got a closer look at what’s coming through Swift’s website, which revealed three collector’s edition CDs of “Patient Zero”: a standard version, an acoustic version and a piano version. The CDs are expected to ship around October 13.
As for the sound of the new single? Fans are predicting a return to pop, while rumors of Swift leaning back into her country roots continue to grow.
Either way, September 25 can’t come soon enough.
