Tessa Groff is publicly calling out paranormal investigator Amy Bruni after Bruni revealed that her fully filmed documentary has been shelved, despite her personally financing and completing the project.

Earlier this week, Bruni shared a video on social media explaining that although the documentary was shot and paid for, it would not be released. According to Bruni, her production partners ultimately went silent on her after disagreeing with a distribution deal she was trying to secure, leaving the project in limbo.

But Groff wasn’t sympathetic.

Instead, she took to social media with a blistering response, accusing Bruni of previously lying about her husband, paranormal TV star Nick Groff, and suggesting the situation was “karma.”

“Hey Amy Bruni remember that time you publicly lied about Nick and his show Paranormal Lockdown being interfered with?” Groff wrote, referencing his former series, Paranormal Lockdown. “Maybe now, since karma bit you… you can tell everyone how you lied for attention.”

She continued, “Typically I’d feel bad that your project you worked so hard on got screwed over. But you can’t prevent karma.”

Groff went even further, comparing Bruni’s current situation to her husband’s past professional setbacks that Bruni allegedly mocked.

“You know that stress you feel over this? It’s the same stress you mocked regarding my husband’s hard work getting canceled,” she wrote. “Maybe the universe is trying to tell you something? It is. It’s trying to tell you to shut your mouth next time.”

The pointed remarks throw fans back to a deeper, long-running tension within the paranormal TV world, particularly with the Groffs and Bruni.

Bruni did not directly respond to Groff’s accusations as of publication.

Her original video, however, struck a disappointed tone, as she explained she had invested significant time, money, and emotional energy into the documentary. She also shared she cannot take legal action as they did not break the contract but rather a moral issue.

The drama also comes as Nick and Tessa prepare for their next chapter. The couple is set to appear together in an upcoming series on Brandon TV (BTV), marking a new joint venture and a return to the screen.

This drama makes one thing clear: the paranormal world is just as haunted by controversy as it is by ghosts.

As Groff put it bluntly: “Attention and respect are two entirely different things.”
