The Dolls reunion Part 1 just dropped on BTV and social media went into full meltdown mode—all thanks to the spotlight on dancer Jalea Kidd and her relationship with her mom, head coach Jenear Kidd. The episode featured some tense moments, including Coach Dianna calling out Jalea’s room-changing energy and questioning whether her attitude helps—or hurts—the team.
That one moment set the internet OFF.

Comments poured in, with fans completely divided. One user, who claims to be an educator, went all in, calling Jalea’s attitude “horrible” and saying they were disappointed because they expected so much more from her—especially being the daughter of Coach Jenear. The comment didn’t stop there—they called her “draining,” suggested she get interview training, and accused her of not taking the opportunity seriously. Yikes.
But it didn’t end there.
Jalea jumped in and clapped back: “Here I go, defending myself, as I will continue to do for the rest of my life ❤️” and “There’s still 2 more parts 😂😂😂😂😂.” The educator wasn’t having it and accused her of being argumentative and “not giving fan favorite.”

Coach Jenear saw the whole thing—and snapped. “COACH JENEAR IS HERE… HER MOTHER!!! GET OFF MY CHILD NOW!! THE AUDACITY FOR YOU TO BE AN EDUCATOR ON HERE BULLYING CHILDREN!!!! WHAT REALLY HOOD?????? YOU HAVE LOST YO MIND!!!!!”
And then Jalea’s dad entered the chat. “Your grown ass on here speaking your opinion on kids. I’m the adult here, what’s up?! That’s my child you’re talking about.”
Coach Dianna even stepped in to defend her dancer, saying “WTH!!!! The lies!! Bc no ma’am!! You don’t know her and this is bull!!!! I’m sorry but this def isn’t ok.”
Meanwhile, other fans came to Jalea’s defense in the comments, with one saying, “I don’t like how people act like someone can’t have off days. Jalea is on TV, we only get a glimpse of her life if that, we don’t know her! I think she’s a beautiful soul and a young woman who’s growing and figuring it out.” Another added, “Y’all are mad weird in the comments for speaking on a child.”

Love her or hate her, one thing’s clear—Jalea knows how to get people talking. And with two more parts of the reunion left to air, this drama is FAR from over. Stay tuned.
