After a wildly successful run, the beloved reality series reboot is ending after 10 seasons, and Netflix has revealed when fans can expect the final farewell. Queer Eye season 10 will premiere on January 21, marking the end of an era for the Fab Five and the millions of viewers who have followed their emotional, life-changing transformations.

The franchise first launched in 2003 as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, instantly becoming a pop culture phenomenon and turning original Fab Five members Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia and Jai Rodriguez into household names during its 2003–2007 run. When Netflix rebooted the series in 2018, expectations were sky-high and the new iteration more than delivered.

The reboot introduced a new Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (food and wine), Jonathan Van Ness (hair and makeup), Karamo Brown (culture and relationships), Tan France (fashion) and Bobby Berk (interior design). Berk starred for eight seasons before exiting the show, with Jeremiah Brent stepping in as the interior design expert for Seasons 9 and 10.

Since its February 2018 debut, Queer Eye has become one of Netflix’s most celebrated reality series. The show has earned a 93 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, amassed 37 Emmy nominations, and secured 12 wins overall, including six consecutive wins for Outstanding Structured Reality Program between 2018 and 2023.

The final season will take place in Washington, DC, which has been confirmed as the show’s last filming location. Netflix announced the premiere date with an emotional video montage featuring highlights from throughout the series, encouraging fans to “get ready to celebrate 10 years of tears, acceptance, transformations, healing, breakthroughs, self-love, compassion, fab.” The teaser ended with the Fab Five teasing “one last ride” as they drove into the nation’s capital.

Produced by Scout Productions, founded by Queer Eye creators David Collins and Michael Williams, alongside ITV Entertainment, the series has consistently blended heart, humor and meaningful storytelling. Over the years, Antoni, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Karamo and Tan have helped people from all walks of life find confidence, healing and joy, and now, they’re preparing to say goodbye.

As Queer Eye heads into its final chapter, fans can expect one last emotional journey filled with the moments that made the series a cultural staple and a beacon of compassion for a whole new generation of fans.
