Tonya Renee Banks Reveals She Struggled With Suicidal Thoughts After Heartbreaking Breakup on Little Hollywood

The latest episode of Little Hollywood featured an emotional breakthrough between Tonya Renee Banks and Amanda Salinas as the two sat down together for the first time since their explosive physical altercation.
While shopping together, Tonya finally explained why she had been so adamant about Amanda moving on from her divorce from Jordan. Throughout the season, Tonya repeatedly told Amanda to "get over it," comments that often came across as insensitive and dismissive of Amanda's feelings.

"I was devastated," Tonya said. "It really messed up my self-esteem because I was with him for about six years."

"I know what you're going through... it took me about six months. And I got depressed. And I saw you going through that same thing, and that's why I was like, she needs to stop. She needs to get out of it... I wanted to commit suicide," Tonya revealed. "And I'm so glad I didn't."
The emotional confession brought both women to tears.
Tonya then explained that someone once gave her tough advice that ultimately helped change her outlook.
"Someone told me, 'Tonya, you gotta get over it. He's out there enjoying himself and you're over here crying your life away.'"
She said that experience shaped the way she approached Amanda's divorce. Rather than trying to minimize Amanda's pain, Tonya believed she was pushing her toward healing because she didn't want Amanda to fall into the same dark place she once experienced.
While Tonya's explanation provides valuable context for why she has been urging Amanda to move forward, it doesn't completely erase how her words were received. Throughout the season, many viewers watched Tonya make comments that felt dismissive, shady, and at times unnecessarily harsh toward Amanda's grief.
