Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham Make Rare Public Appearance Together After Nearly Seven Years
Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham are giving fans a rare glimpse at their decades-long relationship.
The longtime couple stepped out together in Chicago over the weekend to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Oprah Winfrey Show — marking their first public appearance together in nearly seven years.
Winfrey and Graham attended the special celebration at Navy Pier, where they spent time with friends, family and the Harpo Studios team while enjoying food from Chef Art Smith’s Reunion restaurant.
And naturally, Oprah had something to say about the food. In a video shared by Reunion on Instagram, Winfrey could be seen alongside Smith and Graham, who were holding an enormous plate of fried chicken wings.
“Hey, Art’s fried chicken!” Winfrey exclaimed.
For the milestone celebration, the 72-year-old media mogul kept things casual in a pinstriped matching set, white sneakers and sunglasses. Graham, 75, opted for a classic black suit, white button-down shirt and dress shoes.
While the pair have remained together for decades, they rarely make public appearances as a couple. Their last known public event together was the 2019 grand opening gala for Tyler Perry Studios.
But Graham clearly wasn’t going to miss a milestone this important.
“Our Reunion team was filled with gratitude this weekend as we had the honor of hosting Oprah Winfrey and the Harpo Studios crew for a very special anniversary celebration of The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Smith wrote on Instagram Aug. 10. “A true Chicago legend, Oprah has touched countless lives throughout the years.”
The chef added, “Here’s to lasting friendships, unforgettable memories, and the people who make Chicago such a special place.”
